CNC lathe chuck jaws and build-to-print precision machined parts
SOFT JAW QUALITY CONTROL

Inspection starts with fit confirmation.

Every shipment batch receives release inspection. We confirm the chuck interface, jaw-set details and agreed critical characteristics before release.

JAW QUALITY FLOW

Check the details that make a jaw usable.

Inspection begins with the identity and interface of the jaw, then follows the characteristics that affect gripping, repeatability and shipment condition.

01 / IDENTIFY

Chuck and jaw set

Brand/model, chuck size, jaw type, jaw count and material are matched to the order.

02 / CONFIRM

Interface and mounting

Serration or tongue-and-groove details, hole spacing and reference datums are checked.

03 / VERIFY

Profile and set consistency

Length, width, height and agreed bored, stepped or contoured features are verified.

04 / RELEASE

Batch and packaging

Every shipment batch receives release inspection, identification and visible-condition review.

MEASUREMENT CAPABILITY

From fit checks to Zeiss CMM evidence.

General dimensional checks support standard jaw orders. Zeiss CMM inspection is available for agreed custom-profile or geometric characteristics, subject to datum, fixturing, program and reporting review.

Every shipment batch receives release inspection. 100% inspection of agreed critical characteristics is available when included in the quotation; it does not mean every dimension on every piece is measured by default.

Chuck and interface identity

Brand/model, jaw size, jaw count and interface are checked against the order.

Serration or tongue-and-groove

Pitch, angle, slot or mounting details are verified where specified.

Jaw-set dimensions

Length, width, height and matched-set consistency are checked to the agreed scope.

Custom gripping profile

Bores, steps, radii and contact features are checked against the released drawing.

Zeiss CMM inspection

Agreed critical geometry and report output are defined before order.

Condition and release

Identification, rust protection, quantity and export packaging are reviewed before dispatch.

INSPECTION EVIDENCE

Evidence for jaw fit and repeatability.

These inspection views show how the release scope can move from practical jaw checks to agreed geometric evidence for custom profiles.

QUALITY FAQ

Agree the Inspection Scope Before Order

Do you inspect every shipment batch?

Yes. Every shipment batch receives release inspection against the agreed jaw details and acceptance criteria.

Is every dimension checked on every piece?

Only when 100% inspection of those characteristics is included in the quotation. Batch release inspection is standard; the measurement depth is agreed before production.

Can Zeiss CMM inspect custom soft jaws?

Yes, for agreed custom-profile or geometric characteristics when the datum, fixture, program and report format are defined before order.

What happens if a dimension is out of specification?

The output is controlled and reviewed. Molitech communicates the deviation and proposed disposition; shipment or use-as-is cannot replace the buyer's written approval where approval is required.
