Frequently asked questions

Quotations, drawing confirmation, production follow-up and agreed acceptance.

General

Who supplies the parts?

Molitech quotes, contracts and takes payment as your seller. Independent partner manufacturers produce the parts.

Can I order one part or a small batch?

Single-piece and small-batch orders. MOQ: 1 piece.

What is the production lead time?

Production lead time: 10–15 days to dispatch. Delivery according to the agreed schedule.

Who follows my requirements?

Liwen brings 14 years of supplier quality engineering experience and follows drawing requirements, production questions and agreed inspection records.

Is agency work still available?

The existing agency service is a separate secondary enquiry route, with its own scope and fee agreement.

Getting a quote

What should I send?

Drawing revision, material, quantity, destination and target date; identify critical features and required records.

How do I share confidential files?

Use email to liwen@molitech-eng.com or an authorised link. Confirm recipient access and confidentiality requirements before sharing. The local preview does not upload files.

Can I edit the category?

Yes. Service and part-category links prefill an editable summary. Add the details needed to describe your particular enquiry.

How quickly will I receive a quotation?

Quotation within 24 hours.

Production and inspection

Who approves design changes?

Customers approve proposed drawing, material or design changes before the affected work proceeds.

What inspection is included?

Measurement basis, sampling, acceptance criteria and required records are agreed for the order; a particular report or method is not assumed for every part.

What if a part does not meet the agreement?

Provide order/batch reference, photos and measurement basis. Molitech reviews and coordinates investigation. The agreed criteria determine the solution; rework, replacement, costs and timing follow the order agreement.

Payment and delivery

Which terms apply?

Currency, payment schedule, delivery responsibilities and timing are confirmed in the quotation and order.

Planning your order

Can I ask about an urgent order?

Tell Liwen the date you need and where the parts will be delivered. Material, production capacity and shipment arrangements need checking before the order is confirmed.

What if the drawing is not complete yet?

Send what you have and explain the questions you are working through. Liwen can discuss what is still needed for a useful quotation.

Can I request material or inspection documents?

Tell us which documents are needed before ordering. Their scope and any associated testing or reporting should be included in the quotation.

What if an additional process is proposed?

Ask what it achieves for your part and how it affects price and timing. Changes to your design need your approval.

How do I specify a thread or mating surface?

Identify the drawing callout and the feature it must fit. Discuss any finish, masking or inspection requirements that affect the final fit.

Can I request assembly or independent testing?

Explain the assembly or testing scope and required report. Liwen will discuss arrangements with the manufacturing partner before they are included in the order.
