CNC lathe chuck jaws and build-to-print precision machined parts
SOFT JAW CUSTOMIZATION

Machining Support for the Jaw You Need

The Wuhan route supports custom jaw profiles, special-material contact parts and related workholding components. Chuck interface, workpiece geometry, material and inspection requirements are reviewed before quotation.

WUHAN PRECISION-MACHINING BASE

A production route built around soft-jaw fit.

The route is organized around the details that make a jaw usable: chuck interface, mounting features, gripping profile, material and set consistency.

01

Standard and Raw Jaw Supply

Standard steel jaws, raw machinable blanks and selected special-size options are matched to chuck size, jaw count, interface and material.

02

Chuck Interface and Mounting Features

Serration pitch and angle, tongue-and-groove details, mounting-hole spacing and reference datums are confirmed before production.

03

Custom Bored and Profile-Machined Jaws

Step, bore, radius and contoured contact profiles are reviewed from the workpiece drawing, gripping plan and required jaw condition.

04

CNC Milling for Custom Jaw Features

Turning, CNC milling, grinding and slow-wire EDM support selected special forms and related workholding parts when the released drawing fits the approved route.

PROCESS EVIDENCE

Evidence behind a soft-jaw order.

These views connect the product to the route: jaw preparation, feature machining, workshop handling and the checks used before shipment release.

ROUTE FIT

What is confirmed before the jaw is made.

Each order is reviewed against the chuck interface, gripping requirement and agreed acceptance criteria.

COMPLEMENTARY PROCESSES

A complete part may need more than machining.

Heat treatment, surface treatment and specialist operations may be coordinated through qualified sources when required. The specification, allowances, masking, appearance criteria and post-process checks must be defined before release.

  • Assigned processes and suppliers remain traceable
  • Critical complementary processes are reviewed before quotation
  • Evidence requirements are agreed before order

MACHINING FAQ

Before sending the drawing.

Do you accept one-off prototypes?

Yes. We support suitable engineering prototypes, pilot runs, repeat batches and production orders.

Can you promise a 3-5 day prototype?

It is a target for suitable parts after drawing review, material availability and capacity confirmation. The quotation states the actual lead time.
